Tiny Town Quilt Top 2 Day Workshop
Join Gayle and bring your imagination to life as you create your own charming Tiny Town Quilt (47" x 57"), designed by Sarah Fielke! The class includes the pattern and templates needed to create your town using your favorite fabrics.
In this class, you’ll learn English Paper Piecing (EPP) and hand appliqué techniques as you build a whimsical town filled with houses, trees, stop signs, light posts, mailboxes, and more. Add a library, post office, dog walker, playful pups, or anything else your perfect town needs—the possibilities are endless!
This is a wonderful project for using your favorite scraps or finding that just-right fabric for each little house. Let your creativity take the lead and make your Tiny Town uniquely yours!
This is a two day class where you can expect to complete the quilt top and have all knowledge, experience and materials to finish your Tiny Town on your own.

CLASS POLICY:
At The Cotton Patch, we strive to provide a welcoming, creative class environment. We want to make sure that every student has the best experience possible. Seats are reserved on a first-come basis once payment is received, and our classes require at least 4 students to run, unless otherwise noted. If we need to cancel due to low enrollment, we will notify you at least 7 days in advance and issue a full refund. If you cannot attend, you are always welcome to send a friend in your place. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 14 days in advance to receive store credit. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the class are non-refundable and are ineligible for store credit.
Student Responsibility:

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes early so the class can begin on time.

Review the supply list and gather your materials before the day of your class. Students are expected to come to class prepared unless otherwise stated in the description.

You are welcome to bring snacks or lunch and use our classroom refrigerator and microwave.

Remember to take all your belongings home with you. Items left will go in our lost and found. After seven days, any items left will be donated or thrown away. Any perishables left will be thrown away immediately.

| Instructor Bio: | I’ve been sewing since I was a young girl, learning on my mother’s Singer sewing machine—with a finger guard firmly in place! I started by making doll clothes and garments for myself, and in the early 1980s I was introduced to quilting. Since then, I haven’t stopped cutting fabric into pieces and sewing them back together again. Over the years, I’ve explored a wide variety of quilting techniques and can honestly say I enjoy them all. I love taking a traditional pattern and adding my own creative twist. Hand appliqué is especially rewarding and soothing, while working with unusual prints and fabrics provides a fun and inspiring challenge. Although I eventually traded hand quilting for free-motion quilting, I continue to appreciate the speed, versatility, and beautiful designs it makes possible. I’ve been fortunate to learn from many talented quilt artists throughout the years, and I truly enjoy helping others develop their skills, gain confidence, and discover their own creative quilting potential. |
