Sweet Mint Quilt Workshop
Just in time for Christmas! Join us for a fun, festive 4-hour workshop as you create a peppermint candy-inspired pieced block for your own holiday masterpiece. Along the way, you'll learn a quick and easy appliqué technique for the center circles, as well as simple curved piecing methods that make sewing perfect circles easier than you ever imagined.
Whether you're new to curved piecing or just looking for a cheerful seasonal project, you'll leave with having completed one block, and the skills and confidence to finish this delightful quilt in time to decorate for the holidays.

CLASS POLICY:
At The Cotton Patch, we strive to provide a welcoming, creative class environment. We want to make sure that every student has the best experience possible. Seats are reserved on a first-come basis once payment is received, and our classes require at least 4 students to run, unless otherwise noted. If we need to cancel due to low enrollment, we will notify you at least 7 days in advance and issue a full refund. If you cannot attend, you are always welcome to send a friend in your place. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 14 days in advance to receive store credit. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the class are non-refundable and are ineligible for store credit.
Student Responsibility:

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes early so the class can begin on time.

Review the supply list and gather your materials before the day of your class. Students are expected to come to class prepared unless otherwise stated in the description.

You are welcome to bring snacks or lunch and use our classroom refrigerator and microwave.

Remember to take all your belongings home with you. Items left will go in our lost and found. After seven days, any items left will be donated or thrown away. Any perishables left will be thrown away immediately.

| Instructor Bio: | I've been quilting since 1989. My interest in quilting began when I started seeing beautiful vintage quilts featured in home décor and decided I wanted one for my own home. Since I had been sewing for years, I thought, "Why not make one myself?" That decision sparked a lifelong passion. Over the years, I've enjoyed teaching quilting classes, including several years at Thimble Creek in Walnut Creek. I'm excited to be returning to the classroom and sharing my love of quilting at The Cotton Patch. I enjoy many different quilting styles. While my heart leans toward traditional quilts, I appreciate modern designs just as much. I especially love traditional hand quilting, appliqué, piecing, and selected foundation paper-piecing techniques. Fun fact: The very first quilt I made—37 years ago—was so bad that I gave it to my dog! |
