Farmer's Wife Block of the Month

This Block of the Month is divided in 3-month sessions. Each session will cover different blocks.
Join Jocelyn for a guided Block of the Month adventure using the Farmer’s Wife Sampler Quilt book. Each month, students will focus on constructing one 6.5″ (unfinished) Farmer’s Wife block, with clear, classroom-tested instructions designed to make these traditional blocks approachable and accurate.
During class, Jocelyn will demonstrate and guide you through the featured block, sharing step-by-step construction methods, measurements, and helpful tips not included in the book. Students will sew along in class and gain a strong understanding of the block’s structure and techniques.
Each month also includes printed handouts with detailed instructions to help you confidently make three additional coordinating blocks at home, reinforcing the skills learned in class and building consistency across your sampler.
Techniques covered throughout the series include:
-
Foundation paper piecing
-
Working with templates
-
Accurate cutting and precise piecing
This Block of the Month workshop is perfect for quilters who are looking to build and hone their sewing skills while making new friends in a friendly and supportive environment.
Please make sure to check out your required supplies prior to class!
