If you’re ready to expand your ruler work quilting skills, this class is designed with you in mind. Join Jackie as she guides you through creating beautiful and practical border designs and stunning circle-on-quilt motifs using a curated selection of quilting rulers.
Working with specific ruler-quilting rulers that Jackie has chosen for their versatility and ease of use, you will learn how to make beautiful quilting designs that can be applied to your next quilting project. The circle-on-quilt designs featured in this class measure approximately 5.5" in diameter, making them ideal for machines with a smaller throat space. For those with larger machines, the same ruler sets also include options for creating larger-scale designs.
You’ll learn how to mark your quilt, position your templates, and stitch with confidence, opening the door to endless design possibilities for traditional quilt blocks and borders. Let Jackie help you achieve ruler work success—one beautiful stitch at a time!

Classes taught by local instructors:
You may cancel up to 14 days before the class date to receive a store credit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the class are not eligible for store credit.
Classes taught by national or out-of-town instructors:
You may cancel up to 30 days before the class date to receive a store credit.
Can’t attend?
You are welcome to send a friend in your place. This is completely acceptable and encouraged.
If The Cotton Patch cancels a class:
You will receive a refund or, if you prefer, a store credit for the class fee.

| Requirements: | Please ensure your machine is in good, working order for free motion quilting prior to class. The instructor does not have the capacity to troubleshoot tension, thread breakage or other issues during the timeframe of the class. |

| Instructor Bio: | Jackie's lifelong passion for sewing began as a small child watching her mother sew. When she moved to Walnut Creek in 1998 she began attending sewing classes and learned garment sewing from a well-known local sewing teacher, Jane Foster. Her love of sewing led her to quilting. She loves to share her passion and skills with the aim that students will be able to apply what they learn in class to their own creations. |
