Build your color confidence. In this class you will create a palette of strips moving from dark to light. The strips will be cut into 12" squares and sliced diagonally both ways creating 4 triangles which will be arranged into blocks of light or dark. Since the cut square edges are on bias this is also a skill building exercise with lots of tips and practice built into the class.

Originally developed to mend and reinforce clothing, sashiko offers a meaningful, mindful way to extend the life of what you wear. In this beginner-friendly session, you’ll learn the fundamentals, from choosing materials and thread to practicing classic stitching patterns.
